Identify a venue in the city center of Tours to host 150 participants for a scientific meeting. Your needs ? An auditorium for conferences and a second space for a welcome coffee, a cocktail reception and around 15 exhibitors.
Our proposal
Privatize the Grand Théâtre de Tours. Classified as a historical monument, it has all the assets to meet demand: an Italian-style room for conferences and a richly decorated foyer for convivial moments. On the practical side, the Convention Bureau mobilized its local network, in particular BCF Congrès, for the rental of furniture, plants and technical equipment.
Results
A successful event in an unusual location in the city centre, as Loïc Bremont, project manager for the SFSCMFCO Spring workshop, explains: ‘The day was a real success, with 313 people registered, which is a record… The participants were delighted, as were our partners and Professor Laure (head of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department)!‘
